Sahachai Thai Crops Co., Ltd. was first established in 1981 in Samutprakarn, Thailand. Later on, the company expanded to Chiangrai and Phayao province to maximize the production. The Phayao factory was founded in 1999 with over 250 rai of land areas and is currently the main factory to produce salted ginger.

Our Company’s factory is located right in the middle of raw resources, which enables us to benefit not only from the shorter transportation time and lower production cost, but also resulting in higher quality of ginger preservation considerably and tremendously.

Our company has a policy to support and promote cultivation of ginger by supplying agricultural technocrats to educate farmer and introduce new technologies, resulting in enhanced income and creation of employment for agriculturists. Each year, we purchase over 5,000 metric tons of raw products directly from ginger farmers in the upper and lower Northern Provinces such as Chiangrai, Payao, Prae, Narn, Petchaboon and Loei provinces.

In 2013, our company included the GAP (Good Agricultural Practice) into the ginger campaign for the farmers. The practice allows farmers to be educated about cultivation, agronomy, and pest control. It also help farmers make productions at the same level of world quality standard, generate an income, and ensure long-term sustainability in Thai Agriculture.

In 2014, we received the GMP and HACCP certificate for both salted ginger and pickled ginger. In the same year, we received Thai FDA standards for Sushi pickled ginger (Gari) and Red pickled ginger (Beni shouga) for domestic sales in retailers and supermarkets.

Our company continues to deliver quality salted ginger and pickled ginger products that meet customers’ satisfaction. Because our company products are exported for distribution in overseas markets, mainly in Japan and U.S.A, we have an extreme quality control to meet the client’s demand and optimal satisfaction.
